Brianna joined the Directive 8020 mission as a junior officer after the original co-pilot withdrew from cryo prep. She has a personal stake in the colony directive: her younger brother is in the second wave scheduled to arrive on Tau Ceti f. Episodes 4 and 6 unlock backstory flashbacks if Brianna ↔ Thomas trust is ≥ +2.
