Directive 8020 has three forced-stealth set-pieces, all of them lethal on failure. The variant tracks by sound: footstep noise, alarm triggers and panic-pressed QTEs all increment its detection meter.
Universal rules
- Hold-breath gauge — release as soon as the variant is past you. Holding too long auto-fails.
- Don't vault. Vaulting always makes noise. Walk-around even when the route looks longer.
- Wired controller. Bluetooth latency caused the loadlifter QTE to spike at launch — wired or low-latency dongle is safer.
- Bait, don't sprint. Throw objects (Wrench in Ep 5) to relocate the variant; sprinting is auto-detected.
Episode 2 — Cave egg-clusters
- Crouch under the second cluster — the one in the central chamber.
- Wait two heartbeat pulses, then move on the third.
- If the variant turns toward you, hold breath until the icon fades.
Episode 3 — Air-duct chase
- Hold-breath gauge maxes at the second vent. Don't tap — hold and release smoothly.
- The duct fork: take the right-hand path. Left = forced QTE.
- Premonition #5 lives in the junction. Scan it before exiting.
Episode 5 — The Hold (cargo bay)
- Crate stack: crouch left, never vault.
- Bait the catwalk with a wrench. Avoid the breaker — sparks expose you.
- The rescue target is whichever character you sent up the ridge in Ep 2.
- Loadlifter chain: 5 inputs, no margin. One miss = death gate fires.
